Rocky celebrated the New Year and his first show in New Zealand by going Open of Group under judge Diane Riley at the North Canterbury Kennel Association Allbreeds Benefit Show on behalf of the Christchurch Branch of the NZKC Judges Association. 

Rocky's son Quinn (Rouletta The Diamond Geezer) imported by Debra Sheddan, was Reserve of Group, so it was a great day for the two recent emigrants, who coped well with the hot wind and 33 degree temperature of a typical Canterbury summer's day.
